More than 10 years of practice in private and public law in legal business and at TOP-rank civil service positions.
Ihor was the People’s Deputy of Ukraine of VIII convocation, in the Parliament he headed the Subcommittee on judicial authorities functioning of the Committee on Legal Policy and Justice. One of the initiators of drafting and adoption of draft laws on court judgments enforcement system reform and on creation the institution of private executors, as well as decentralization of authorities in business and real estate registration area.
During his tenure, he was a member of the Presidential Constitutional Commission, as well as a member of the Judicial Reform Council, within the framework of which new procedural codes, laws on the Constitutional Court of Ukraine and on the High Council of Justice weredeveloped.
In 2014, the partner of Prime Partners Ihor Aleksieiev headed the State Registration Service of Ukraine, and was a Deputy Minister of Justice – Chief of Staff.
During the work in the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, he coordinated interaction of the Ministry with the Administration of the President of Ukraine, the Parliament, the Government of Ukraine and other state authorities, local governments. Coordinated development of regulations in areas of legal regulation of judicial system and judiciary, access to justice and criminal justice.
He was a member of the Supervisory Board of Oschadbank and Ukreximbank.
Until 2014, about 5 years Ihor spend working in private sector, advising clients on various aspects of corporate law, taxation and protection of business in Ukraine. Has experience in representation of clients` interests in disputes with supervisory authorities, as well as in cases on protection of business reputation.
Attorney-at-Law, Candidate Degree in Law Sciences. The topic of the dissertation: “Institute of probation in criminal justice system of Ukraine”.
Merited Lawyer of Ukraine.
